September 2002

  • Many people have inquired as to the whereabouts of Mark Palmer. He contacted me and told me he has bought a house and now lives in Flushing, Michigan.
  • Roger Orloff ‘60 was awarded the Albert Fox Demers award, its second-highest award, by the Rensselaer Alumni Association, in May. If the name rings a bell, check your pledge information; the dishwasher is still named after him!
  • Tim Hoerrner and his wife, Jen, are moving to San Francisco in the near future. He has accepted a position of Director of Marketing at RoadRunner sports (www.RoadRunnerSports.com). Tim and Jen have two dogs and a cat.
  • Steve Chopelas and his wife, Felicia, plan to add a boy to their family, already consisting of Amber (5) and Ashley (2). The due date is end of January. Best of luck, Choppa, with the pregnancy! Worst of luck, Choppa, in my fantasy hockey league! Photos available at www.chopelas.net.
