March 2003

  • Thanks to Bruce Friday ‘66 for contacting me and sending me a Pentagon from 1973 and a family tree from the same period. The Pentagon was very interesting. Some things are different (8-cent postage, rush rules, parties — Saturnalia and drive-in movie parties?) and some things are the same (apparent difficulties maintaining the address lists, budget crunches). If a pledge wants a bonus, the rex at the time was Chrisopher P. Day and the scribe who wrote most of the Pentagon was Bill Rutherford.
  • Single females in New England grieved as Florin Neamtu announed his engagement to Danielle. Smoovie Luv says he’ll got to alumni weekend … but only if Mele goes.
