January 2005

  • Florin Neamtu moves from Boston to North Carolina and gets stuck in the snow: “Yeah, everyone here is retarded too. 1 inch of snow paralizes this place. I think they have 1 salt truck in the whole state. One guy was in his car 7.5 hours to drive 10 miles home.” Not particularly important news, but kinda funny if you can imagine Florin ranting.
  • Luis Eugui: “My wife Cherie and I had our first child, Annabelle Eugui, on Sept 10, 2004. Due to the increase in size of the family, we bought a new house in Valhalla, NY. , I got back from the middle east in late July, and returned to the Port Authority in early August. I’m still living in NY and working in NJ, but there’s still talk that we’ll move back to NY in 2006 when 7 WTC is completed.”
  • KTAA VP Tony Dazzo and Josh Whitely treated the House to a Thanksgiving dinner: “This year I’m proud to say we did fantastic and it’s thanks in large part to those shiny new ovens. We cooked for about 75 people, made 83 lbs worth of turkey, 60 lbs of potatoes, gallons of gravy and about a dozen pies. This year we tried something new: in addition to the oven turkeys, we deep fried 2 of them. Don’t worry, it wasn’t in the frialator! We had a burner outside. That way there was no chance of burning down the brand new kitchen, or at least everything around it.”
