- Sad news to report as undergraduate brother Adam Kostial died suddenly of a brain aneurysm on December 5th. The NYKT chapter website has further information and a tribute to Adam.
- Evan Woolard is back in Albany, NY after living in Atlanta. He says he can no longer chill with Ludacris.

- Don Murphy has resigned as President of the House Corporation. (The KTAA had previously merged with the House Corporation.) Murph accomplished a lot in his tenure. In my opinion, he elevated the status of the KTAA/House Corp. and greatly increased its fundraising capabilities. Thanks, Murph!
- Patrick Dicaprio has taken Murph’s place on the House Corp., though some of the specific duties of the members have not yet been determined. The current House Corp. members are Karl Oestreich, Dave MacKenzie (treasurer), Darren Felzenberg (secretary), Tony Dazzo, and Patrick Dicaprio.
- Ken Friedman (FriedmanK@GSICommerce.com) checked in and told me all about his life, past and present. Please send him an email if you want to catch up.
- During on ongoing techie discussion at the NYKT yahoo group, Jeff Weiss, the management major dropped this nugget: “So what am I doing now? Oracle Database Administration consulting and some UNIX shell scripting. I still use /dev/null a lot, and like it!”
- Jamie Thompson and his wife Britney welcomed their first child, James W. Thompson, in July. They are still living in the Troy area, in Brunswick.
- Early notice: Alumni Weekend 2006 will be the weekend of April 23rd.

- Eric Park has a new daughter, Samantha, born on october 5, 2005.
- Patrick Dicaprio was RPI’s co-Greek Man of the Year last year.
- Ian Marlow was promoted to President at Gale Company. He has a 120-inch TV with Dolby 7.1. I don’t know what that means exactly, but I do know that the fight scene from “Gladiator” was totally cool on a 120-inch TV with Dolby 7.1.

- Greg Recine is engaged to be married. He promises to have monkeys at his post-wedding party.
- Steven Sterling ‘73 joined the yahoo group: “I’ve been in Maryland almost 24 years after stints in Pittsburg and Idaho. My engineering degree kept me employed for many years; but for the last fifteen, I’ve been doing computer programming for our in-house Plant Design CADD software. That has proved to be a much more secure profession as I’ve outlasted several engineering purges over the years when utilities weren’t building so many power plants.”
- NYKT won Pi Lam’s Chapter of the Year.

- The following update from Bob Eltz, class of ‘53: “I am class of 1953 and was very involved in nationalization of the KT local, altho I didn’t officially join Pilam myself till around 1958, after finishing grad school at Cornell.. I was living in NYC then, took a 30 second initiation at the national office in order to join the National Council and also become an advisor to the Brooklyn College chapter (and later to the NYU chapter at Washington Square).”
- Alexander (”A.J.”) Nalevanko is a high school science teacher in Pennsylvania, about an hour south of Pittsburgh (I think). This is probably the second-greatest achievement of his life. The greatest achievement was when he beat AEPi’s basketball team with a last-second shot.
- Chris Blain has moved to Sausalito, CA.
- This FYI message from Tim Lindh, who is an active brother: “Alledgedly, the neighbors next door to 300 Pawling have put their house up for sale….maybe some rich alumni wanna buy it.”
